Colin Doyle is the Director of Innovation at Cloud to Street, turning innovative science into actionable tools. After receiving a BS in Environmental Biology from Georgetown University, Colin worked at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) as the Center Lead for the NASA DEVELOP National Program. He then worked as a researcher in the Hydrological Sciences Laboratory at NASA GSFC developing automated near real-time flood monitoring and damage assessment systems for the Lower Mekong River Basin. Colin is a PhD candidate in the department of Geography and the Environment at the University of Texas at Austin, where he also holds a Master's degree from, where he studies geomorphology, hydrology, and remote sensing. His research focus is not only on modern flooding, but wetlands and floodplains through time, having worked in wetlands in Belize for a decade reconstructing ancient Maya water management, agriculture, and paleoenvironmental change.
